Come experience the work of 19 trailblazing experience designers from around the world. The third cohort of the Experience Design Certificate Program has spent the past year reimagining death rituals, community action, creative processes, reproductive justice, and responses to climate catastrophe. These unique interactive projects span 1-on-1 performance, collaborative cooking games, portraiture experiences, and interactive installation. Each piece is an invitation to cross the threshold into a new way of experiencing the world.

Led by Odyssey Works, the internationally-acclaimed group which has expanded the notion of experience design and famously made performances for an audience of one for more than two decades, the artists and designers of The New Frame will invite you to rethink the possibilities of design.

Ever wonder why you feel so…something? Have your feelings been building up, spilling out, perhaps even leaving behind a sticky trail of a decidedly unsavory color/odor/texture?

When was the last time you took out your emotional trash?

The head garbage collector for the New York Department of Emotional Sanitation will guide you through the department's patented process for sorting, compacting, and composting your emotional trash.

This is a physical, small group experience, set to music. Wear comfortable clothing and get ready to snarl, shake and stomp it out. Or sneeze it out. Whatever it takes—just get it out, will ya?
