Come experience the work of 19 trailblazing experience designers from around the world. The third cohort of the Experience Design Certificate Program has spent the past year reimagining death rituals, community action, creative processes, reproductive justice, and responses to climate catastrophe. These unique interactive projects span 1-on-1 performance, collaborative cooking games, portraiture experiences, and interactive installation. Each piece is an invitation to cross the threshold into a new way of experiencing the world.

Led by Odyssey Works, the internationally-acclaimed group which has expanded the notion of experience design and famously made performances for an audience of one for more than two decades, the artists and designers of The New Frame will invite you to rethink the possibilities of design.

The Togetherness through Design mini 1:1 exhibition invites you to pull up a chair, enjoy a warm cup of tea, and immerse yourself in the essence of Travessia (Threshold). Set in an intimate space around a carefully curated table, I’ll share the story and the behind-the-scenes facilitation design as you explore photos and registers capturing the spirit of the experience, along with a video that conveys the atmosphere of the 60-hour immersion—playful territory, intimacy-building, and a shared sense of home in a bucolic setting on a southern Brazilian island. This exhibition offers a space for connection and exchange; your own experiences—whether positive or challenging—in collective enthusiasm and engaged collaboration will become part of the exhibition itself. I would love to hear your stories and reflections. Before you go, take with you a zine featuring the 16 guiding principles—a source of inspiration for your journey forward
